Junior Channel Account Manager

We are looking for a Junior Channel Account Manager to join our Channel team reporting to the Channel Manager in the North Central region. In this remote role, you will establish strong business relationships, drive exponential growth with our Channel Partners, and drive channel onboarding and engagement. You will be responsible for facilitating revenue growth within our channel partner community through collaboration and execution of the national channel strategy. You will own and grow a set of channel partners and recruit, onboard, and enable new channel partners while working closely with the Channel Partners, the field sales team, and the business development team.
You’re the ideal candidate if you have a self-starter attitude and excellent know-how and can plan long term and strategically while performing autonomously. You can cultivate relationships internally, externally, and across teams and align and bring stakeholders together to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with Channel Account Managers and Infoblox Sales Teams to grow overall regional revenue while leveraging channel partner expertise and relationships
- Understand our partners’ business models/structures
- Train channel partners on products, selling best practices, and partner resources
- Engage and support partner focused activities facilitating revenue growth
- Manage and drive partner pipelines
- Promote and drive marketing success within the channel community in the north-central region (IL, WI, MN, IO, SD, ND)
- Manage partner accreditation metrics that adhere to the global partner program
- Develop a strategy to recruit and onboard new channel partners
- Drive engagement and growth with a partner community acquiring new customers
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a commissioned sales, customer support, or business development role
- Demonstrated experience driving revenue growth within a channel model
- Background in IT Security and SaaS preferred (MSP experience also a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and achieve metric-driven results
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Possess a mix of relationship/sales and analytical/project management skills
- Understand CRM tools (SFDC a plus) and remote video applications
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with revenue responsibilities
- Partner, alliance, or business development experience
- Customer-focused problem solver
- Must be located in IL, WI, MN, IO, SD, or ND
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
- Be able to lead general training for our partners
- Understand how Infoblox business affects partners’ business and how Infoblox fits into a security architecture
- Have a firm understanding of how Infoblox competes with other vendors both for customers and for partners
- Fully comprehend the regional business and forecast the channel driven opportunities
After about a year, you will…
- Be able to navigate complex deals involving the channel and resolve channel conflict
- Build joint business plans with your top partners
- Understand the partner landscape i.e., which partners have a strong SaaS practice in what regions
- Have built a comprehensive plan to achieve regional goals leveraging your partners
