Job Description:

SAIC has a job opening for a Procurement Graduate Student Intern position for evaluating and improving the registration, vetting, and onboarding processes for suppliers in our SAIC Supplier Portal. This internship is a teleworking position. The graduate intern will be permitted to work on an approved graduate project. The graduate intern will be expected to communicate and coordinate with suppliers, aiding in SCM risk identification. Additionally, the intern will assess supply chain management processes and help to develop cost-savings and risk mitigation measures.

The graduate intern will assume other responsibilities as requested in support of departmental goals and objectives commensurate with the scope of the graduate intern capstone project.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management
• Experience with internet applications, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to listen, comprehend, and solve suppliers issues in accessing the Supplier Portal with the assistance of a supervisor
• Demonstrate excellent comprehension, empathy, critical thinking, and good problem-solving skills

Target salary range: $25,001 - $35,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
