Intern, Data Analyst - Text Analytics
Position Overview
Autodesk is offering an internship opportunity to a candidate who is passionate about being a champion for customers and who loves qualitative data. In this role you will help to build text analytics topics and dashboards in Qualtrics that enable us to optimally synthesize voice of the customer in digestible themes and actionable insights for all business stakeholders.

This internship opportunity is within a cross-functional Customer Insights team with experts in Customer Experience, Research, Design and Customer Analytics who are all working closely together to bring insights to the teams that manage Autodesk.com and our other major websites, along with the broader S ales, C ustomer S uccess, M arketing and S upport t eams across Autodesk. The team is primarily located on the West Coast.
Responsibilities
Identify key themes via analysis of open-ended feedback from customer experience surveys, specifically from Customer Effort Score survey (CES).
Work with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify key words and create topic text models that will help us to continuously listen for trends in these key themes.
Develop a process for periodic topic model maintenance and updates to ensure our text analytics topic models are always accurate and up-to-date.
Assist in building Qualtrics Voice of Customer dashboards dedicated to different phases of customer lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to create the most effective dashboards that meet their needs and provide actionable insights.
May assist with other Voice of Customer Program projects and ad hoc analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
Student must be at least 18 years of age
Student must be actively enrolled in a degree granting academic institution or accredited boot camp at the time of internship
Strong customer-focused mindset
Experience with qualitative data analysis
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment and successfully build collaborative relationships
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Qualtrics or another enterprise text analytics tool is highly desired
Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint is required; experience with various systems and other data analysis tools is recommended
About the US Intern Program
The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
