Title: Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: North American time zone preferred.

Division: Architecture & Design; SketchUp

Job Summary:

SketchUp, a division of Trimble, seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to work within the Finance and Business Intelligence organizations. The Business Intelligence Team’s goal is to align strategic and operational objectives within the business in order to drive more informed decision making. This position will focus on the continuous development and improvement of SketchUp’s Object and Key Result (OKR) reporting, by employing and optimizing robust data analysis practices.

The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with members of the Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product and IS within the SketchUp business and wider Trimble corporate teams, to proactively identify and drive more informed decision making. Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record of solving problems and driving positive business outcomes through taking action on insights, being proactive, and being solution oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Data cleaning and preprocessing.

  • Data validation; working across internal teams and external systems providers

  • Creating and maintaining visualizations and custom dashboards.

  • Maintenance of existing transformations (ETLs) and participation in the development of new transformation workflows in Domo

  • Managing task/project queues, prioritizations and status updates.

  • Ownership of ad-hoc report requests.

  • Responding to inbound questions about data sources/fields/reports.

  • Ensuring manual data exports into Domo are updated

  • Troubleshooting


Qualifications Required:

  • Experience with Domo and Google Analytics 360 or similar business intelligence tools and data visualization preferred.

  • Ability to demonstrate high level of SQL, Excel and statistical analysis expertise.

  • Experience of Data cleaning and working within Agile project management methodologies.

  • Ability to work across changing technology platforms.

  • Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently.

  • Effective time management, multi-tasking, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills.

  • 2 years of applicable experience
