VMWare Cloud on AWS Pod Team is based out of Palo Alto, USA and Bangalore, India. We build life cycle management features and fleet management services to deploy, operate and upgrade Software Defined Data Centers (SDDC) in the cloud.

On a day to day basis, we are involved in design and development of new features, resolution of issues related to elated to VMware Cloud Product life cycle management encountered in the fleet.

What type of work will you be doing an intern? What assignments or requirements will you be performing on a regular basis?

Depending on your background, interest, and technical alignment to the various areas of CIBG technology stack, you could be working on team projects. • You'll design and implement life cycle management features and fleet management services to deploy VMware’s Cloud products and manage the fleet.
• You'll have the chance to create and implement platforms and interfaces that can be plugged in by partner solutions.
• You'll solve issues related to VMware Cloud Product life cycle management.
• You'll use modern methodologies to develop and test the new features

What are skills that would be helpful for a successful internship?

• Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in CS or ECE
• Knowledge in Python, Java, Go, C, or C++
• Strong CS foundation with algorithmic and problem-solving skills
• Preferred Coursework in the following: Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems.
• Strong analytical skills, good judgment and passion for your work
• Good teamwork and communication skills
