Recognition Internship

Location: Work from Home
Dates: Monday, May 23rd, 2022 - Friday, August 5th, 2022
Hours: 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks
Responsibilities:
The Recognition Intern will work to support the day to day operations of the recognition program and the achievement of key program goals and ministry initiatives. The intern will support the launch of nursing and physician specific recognition initiatives, including nursing support award, the addition of patient to associate recognition module and implementation of an offline population engagement strategy. Responsibilities include:
- Help to effectively message program goodness and ensure deliverables meet deadlines, build framework for recognition engagement for key departments and job families, foster a culture of recognition through built environment initiatives and ensuring cohesive policies
- Create and implement meaningful recognition messages and campaigns rooted in known recognition metrics
- Support discovery projects related to converting offline population to engaged online participants, alignment of recognition and associate retention, and healthcare industry recognition benchmark and behavior economics to increase engagement and utilization.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology/Social Work or similar field of study
- Junior/Senior/Graduate preferred
- Strong service orientation
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with leaders and colleagues
- Strong analytical skills
