Job Summary
As part of the Product Management team, the Jr. System Analyst/Product Owner job function focuses on delivering meaningful user centric products and digital experiences that help the patient, their therapist, and their support system by providing easy and intuitive digital solutions that improve treatment outcomes for the Patient and drive business value for the Clinical Practices, increasing results for all the participants in this ecosystem while increases Rethink’s Revenue.
The Jr. System/Business Analyst leads the Agile delivery teams by driving the backlog management, user stories definition, product requirements and support development.
Essential Responsibilities
- Product Roadmap
- Working with the Product Managers to understand the short-term Product Roadmap to define the sequencing of the work to be deliver, considering dependencies, risks and contractual delivery agreements.
- Execute the product roadmap to deliver solutions that delight our customers and maximize their efficiency and ability to deliver revenue generating solutions.
- Product Execution
- Drive and own backlog grooming and management, prioritize the iteration and drive acceptance testing and delivery of iteration
- Responsible for day-to-day product responsibilities including writing and prioritizing stories, hosting estimation and grooming sessions with delivery team, and attending team standups, retrospectives and other team meetings / outings.
- Help research technical options and identify data sources, logic and rules by working both with the delivery team and with other teams to learn their offerings and availability.
- Provide clear direction to the delivery team through defined product priorities, schedules and dependencies.
- Work with team members spanning delivery teams to execute successful delivery of product features.
- Be a champion for the product, the delivery team and their goals.
- Provide feedback to delivery team members as needed to support the health of the team.
- Provide quick decisions to system level questions and defect triage.
- Work with 3rd party system integrators to drive process on schedule and on budget.
- Ensure that the product delivered has the best UX experience for the users
- Product Management
- Understand how the solutions are utilized by customers and the areas of opportunity to facilitate prioritization and focus on the most impactful features.
- Interact with customers regularly, to enhance knowledge of the customers' needs and opportunities.
- Be available to respond very quickly to client issues and help the team to problem solve.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in product management, product software delivery, software quality assurance or related functions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, statistics or equivalent.
- Technically competent to translate the business needs to developers.
- Passionate about delighting users by creating a wonderful product experience
- Clear understanding of UX/UI and of information technology
- Customer-centric orientation with proven track-record of developing and acting on customer insights
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently
- Experience working with agile teams, including familiarity with scrum ceremonies and agile best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
