We are hiring one Marketing Intern for Summer 2022 for our Final Arrangements and Preplanning Solution business – however we have two different roles available! Join us this summer as a Marketing Intern in one of these roles and be a part of helping to execute our brand rollout for this line of business!

The Marketing and Strategy Execution team is responsible for shaping the internal and external experience associated with the execution of business strategies. The Marketing Intern role is designed to provide hands on experience to acquire knowledge of methods, strategies, and standards in delivering a strong Customer and Partner Experience through the rollout of our new go-to-market brand in the US. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a classroom environment while gaining new skills in a dynamic professional setting and should consider which role is of greater interest and focus their attention on that role in their application.
The roles available include:
- Marketing Communications Specialist
- Marketing Campaign Strategist
Both roles will support the Marketing team in the development and execution of a rollout strategy for the launch of our new go-to-market brand in the US. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and leaders, Operations teams, the Sales team, and members of the Marketing team. These roles require critical attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, self-motivation, and resourcefulness to solve problems and answer questions.
Both roles will have a specific focus on the rebranding project and will be exposed to all aspects of marketing, including development of communication components and campaign strategy, and experience mapping in a business environment. The intern will actively contribute to cross-functional projects and will also plan and execute individual value-added projects throughout the summer. Additional responsibilities will be developed in conjunction with the intern’s interests, skills and desired learning areas.

The Communication Specialist could be involved in the following activities:
- Aid in development, proofreading, organization, coordination and delivery of written communication plans and pieces
- Make recommendations for communication campaign tactics and PR strategies that aim to deliver a positive experience and promote awareness of upcoming change impact
- Report on successes and challenges of completed projects and recommend next steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver collateral upon request and participate in discussions that inform decision making
- Provide support in the development and tactical deployment of digital marketing plans
- Handle various assignments which may include content writing, campaign proposals, and social media.
The Marketing Communications Specialist Internship encompasses opportunities in Communications, Customer Experience, and Marketing Strategy.
#2 Job Responsibilities – Marketing Campaign Strategist

- Conduct consumer and partner market research to inform business strategy development and webinar content
- Design and implement self-directed projects that aim to deliver a positive experience and promote awareness of upcoming change impact
- Report on successes and challenges of completed projects and recommend next steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver collateral upon request and participate in discussions that inform decision making
- Provide support in the development and tactical deployment of digital marketing plans.
- Handle various assignments which may include content writing, campaign proposals, and social media.
The Marketing Campaign Strategist Internship encompasses opportunities in Marketing Strategy, Customer Experience, and Communications.
Job Requirements
Successful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills and capabilities:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Minor/Major) or MBA (Emphasis) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or Management.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation.
- Enthusiastic and positive team outlook and ability to work independently with direction.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and effective project management skills with the ability to work productively to meet competing priorities.

Base Salary Range:
