Where You’ll Work
Accredo is a specialty pharmacy that serves patients with complex and chronic health conditions, including cancer, hepatitis C, HIV, bleeding disorders and multiple sclerosis. We understand the complexity of these conditions and treatments. Our specialty-trained pharmacists and nurses are available to provide personalized care to patients. Through Accredo’s 15 condition-specific Therapeutic Resource Centers (TRC) we deliver a level of expertise and care that is unmatched.
What You’ll Do
The Software Developer Summer Intern will support the leadership team in the design and development of value-added reports and applications to meet contractual requirements and drive improved decision making within operations. The Intern will learn and experience writing and modifying software application programs.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred.
Analytical and detail-oriented, problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office software experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to share opinions and take risks
Takes initiative, independent thinker and worker
Ability to develop and model hypotheses and conclusions while identifying assumptions
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 12 weeks summer 2022, beginning May 23, 2022.
This role can work from home from any US location.
One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
