Python/Web Software Application Development Intern- Spring 2022 - ATAS
The Intelligent Sustainable Technologies Division at GTRI is seeking an undergraduate student to assist with the development of a software tool used to automate project management tasks within the division. The application is developed in Python and uses a SQL-like backend database for data management, though future efforts will also include a web frontend interface. This student will work closely with division leadership and administrators to address bugs and develop new features for the tool.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Intern
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Experience with Python programming language
- Knowledge of Git version control software
Preferred Qualifications
- Full-stack web development experience
- Experience with SQL database framework and commands
- Strong math and communication skills
- Ability/desire to intern for multiple semesters
Hours per Week
10–20 hours per week
