ALTERNATIVE CREDIT & FIXED INCOME SUMMER INTERNSHIP
Magnetar is offering an 8 week internship with our Alternative Credit and Fixed Income Team. The internship will encompass one week of formal training through Global Financial Markets Institute. Three weeks of the program will be hands-on fundamental credit modeling and analysis, culminating in a final written presentation. The four additional weeks will give exposure to other areas of the business such as SPAC's, real estate, etc. This is a unique and rare internship opportunity, for students interested in the Alternative Asset Management Business.
- Rising college sophomore or junior;
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Math, Engineering, or Finance from a top-tier school; (or a related degree)
- Passion for investment management/asset management industry;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- Strong analytical skillset;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Uphold a strong sense of ownership, obligation, and personal accountability.
