Job Summary: The Tax Credit Fund department is currently hiring for 2 Jr. Tax Associates to assist during the upcoming tax season. There are 1500 client investment properties and each property sends in their tax return. The Jr. Tax Associate will primarily be responsible for taking the tax return and filling out an electronic form using RJ's internal system.
Job Duties
- Review tax return and fill out online form while ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Track work progress using electronic document management system
- Perform various duties as assigned
Must Haves - Hard Skills
- At least 2 years of recent data entry and document management experience
- Basic knowledge of tax preparation - someone who has worked at H.R. Block or Jackson Hewitt would be perfect for this role
- Any knowledge or experience with corporate tax preparation would be a big plus but its not required
- Basic Excel skills; must know how to do basic functions such as creating and updating a spreadsheet, entering data, adding / removing columns and rows, etc.
