Seagate is offering an exciting position to a motivated business intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. You will be supporting the Workplace Services Global Program Team as part of the Workplace Services Group which consists of Global Facilities, Global Real Estate, and Global Environment, Health, Safety and Occupational Health. Workplace Services provides employees (and some non-employees) with the right work environment (physical, technological, and organizational) at the right time and the right place for the right cost, enabling the Company to achieve its business goals. As the intern, you will assist in analyzing/interpreting data, developing action plans, facilitating group discussions, training/assisting internal customers on a variety of software platforms, and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in business administration.

About the role - you will:

Provide the following for our Real Estate, Facilities, EHS, Financial management and Project teams:
  • Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs
  • Help plan and design business processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Perform research and analysis
  • Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data
  • Estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide recommendations
  • Help launch new initiatives
  • May perform additional projects upon request
  • Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents
  • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
  • Quickly learn software platforms in order to train/assist our project teams
  • Develop insightful recommendations from large amounts of complex information
  • Create and manage project plans

About you:

  • Business Administration or related major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal acumen
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Your experience includes:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn GUI software platforms quickly (no coding experience necessary)

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base hourly range for this position: $17-21. Actual range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
