Technical Writer Intern - Summer 2022
High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are key markets for NVIDIA. Researchers and scientists are actively embracing GPU programming to accelerate their research. To help them with onboarding to GPUs, in collaboration with national labs and universities, NVIDIA is leading a series of GPU hackathons and bootcamps. Hackathons are short—typically week-long —intensive coding sessions where expert mentors team up with groups of researchers to guide through acceleration or optimizing of their codes on GPUs using a number of programming models and tools.
With the fast growing demand for starting on GPUs in the scientific community, NVIDIA is looking for a Technical Writer Intern to help scale GPU outreach efforts through hackathon events. In this position you will be responsible for creating website copy, craft social communications, press releases, success stories and help design user manuals and teaching materials. Source story ideas, research writing assignments, conduct interviews to deliver case studies and blogs featuring technical innovations, researchers and events
Work with the technical team to ensure training materials and manuals are crafted according to best practices: grammatically accurate, easy to read, and enforce to branding guidelines.
What we need to see:
Excellent written communication skills
Attention to detail, with strong social and organizational skills
The ability to prioritize your work to meet deadlines
Passion for learning new things and connecting with people
