Job Summary: As the Business Systems Analyst Intern, for Technology Services you will work collaboratively across the Technology organization assisting with the delivery of projects utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle, analyzing data related to ITSM for process improvement, and providing technical documentation on a variety of topics all of which help deliver TriNet’s HR Services.

Essential Duties:

  • Effectively, professionally, and respectfully represents other Technology staff members, teams, and their services to business users and, in turn, our clients.
  • Assisting in KPI and metric reporting for Ad Hoc requests
  • Assisting in Software Development Life Cycle by gathering and creating requirements, testing and communicating with Stakeholders
  • Analyze and make recommendations on Technology process improvements and ITSM systems.
  • Work within Technology Operations Center on Service Catalogue requests provisioning Access
  • Write technical documentation used for automation, end user communication and refinement of knowledge base articles
  • Assist in publishing Technology articles and newsletters related to projects, technical releases and Technology initiatives
  • Provides base-level support for all Technology products and services as well as all TriNet applications. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy.
  • Actively participate in team and company projects as assigned.
  • Develop and document solutions to known issues in the team and end user knowledge base.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite of tools, specifically JIRA, Confluence, and Stash

Education:

Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising junior, senior or enrolled in master’s level education status at the start of the internship

  • M 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote, etc) Medium to advance excel knowledge
  • Database utilization
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Ability to be inquisitive, a critical thinker, and adaptable.
  • Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation.

Other Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to learn and support new and quickly changing technologies
  • Ability to research solutions or information regarding technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure and in high-stress situations.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of hardware and software products
  • Outgoing in nature with a high energy level
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and without always having documented answers to questions
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to remain organized, on task, and manage time efficiently
  • Solid team-level presentation, verbal and written communication, and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and relationship building skills

This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States, except the role may not be performed in Colorado or Connecticut.
