BASIC FUNCTION:
The Media Production Intern will support the Storytelling team through video, photography and audio production. Reporting to the Director of Storytelling, the Media Production Intern will support American AgCredit’s mission by raising awareness of the role our customers and employees play in supporting American agriculture.

This role requires collaboration within the Brand Team as well as other departments in the Association. Some travel is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assists with video shoots at customers’ operations through all stages of production
• Optimizes and edits media for use across multiple platforms (video, audio (podcasts), etc.)
• Assists in maintaining digital asset manager (DAM)
• Performs other duties and requests as assigned

LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:
Works under the direction of the Director of Storytelling

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BA/BS degree in progress with emphasis in journalism, broadcasting, media production, video editing, audio editing, photography or equivalent
• Interest in media production, video editing, photography or related field
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud products, emphasis on Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Audition and Photoshop
• Familiarity with video production equipment, including Canon camera systems and lighting techniques
• Ability to repackage video content/interviews for delivery on audio platforms
• Ability to work on multiple projects, often with tight deadlines

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit, and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

FULL-TIME REMOTE:
These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.

COMPENSATION:
$20/Hour
