Marketing Intern
Position Summary:
Over the course of the internship, the student will learn how to work with a team of telephone fundraisers, market products and services, test and evaluate marketing strategies, communicate across the organization, and ultimately increase a client's return on their investment. This position will require you to work both remotely (work at home) and in our onsite facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze results and project program potential, with the ability to compare achieved results to goals
Communicate efficiently (verbally and in writing) with internal audiences and/or with clients to:
- answer questions about InfoCision's services, pricing, policies, and procedures
- coordinate projects
- define and adjust call strategies and objectives
- gather information
- know, understand and explain results
- monitor, coach, train, motivate and develop others to achieve results
- provide feedback
Learn as much as possible, across all meetings, trainings, and interactions, regarding business as well as our proprietary tools and systems
Manage Programs by working with various departments, teams, and individuals to improve program results
Recommend Improvements in operations, processes, scripts, efficiency, and service to customers
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in marketing, sales or a related field from a four-year college or university
- Has obtained junior or senior level standing
- Must be able to provide 20 hours of work/week
- Previous call center experience is helpful but not required
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Maintains a valid Drivers License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of modern business communication, office procedures and methods. Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
Equipment Used: headsets, telephones, computer, other office equipment as needed.
