About the role

In this internship, you'll play an integral part in bringing our mission to life. You'll work closely with our Product team on user Research. This will include designing user interviews to understand user needs, interviewing users, and synthesizing and sharing what you learn, with the goal of helping our product teams make better decisions about the right things to build. You'll gain a deep knowledge of our customers in the context of their personal journey, and develop your skills as a researcher.

This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the US.

What you'll do

• Gain real world experience at a fast-paced, high growth startup
• Work cross functionally with product design, product management, and engineering teams to understand their goals and design the right research process to help us achieve them
• Conduct interviews with users with the goal of deeply understand their needs and how those needs might be met
• Clearly communicate research findings and insights in engaging, persuasive ways that draw others into your empathetic understanding of user needs and the broader contexts in which they interact with our platform
• Lead self-directed projects with guidance and help from senior Product Managers

What we're looking for

• You have a strong understanding and passion for user-centered design
• You're highly empathetic with innate curiosity to understand not only what people do, but why they do it
• Previous internship experience preferred but not required
