We are seeking a Corporate Development Intern to be a key contributor to the Building Engines team driving strategic growth. You will work closely with the team to understand our strategy and to influence the near-term execution of our Partnership program. You will also have an opportunity to participate in M&A sourcing and deal origination in support of JLL-led efforts. This position is remote, but you will have the opportunity to work from either our Boston HQ or NYC offices as needed. You will report to our EVP of Business and Corporate Development. This is a great opportunity to learn and contribute to the strategic development at a growing B2B SaaS company.
What You'll Do:
Support Partnership activities across the entire life cycle, including sourcing, due diligence, execution, and integration.
Perform market, industry, and company specific research to assess new verticals within market and expansion opportunities through acquisitions and partnerships
Work cross functionally to support integration and migration efforts
Assist with presentation materials for executive leadership
Engage Product team to assess technology, alignment and customer use-cases and value
What We're Looking For:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business, finance, and/or economics
Strong Excel skills
Strong research, analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent written / oral communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
Part time (10-20 hours per week) during school year with opportunity to extend to full time during school breaks.
Strong interest in a career path in either software, or investment banking, private equity, etc.
Have authorization to work in the United States
