As a Human Resources Intern, you will be able to assist and support our diverse HR team in Talent Acquisition / Development, Wellness, Employee Relations, Compensation and more!
Duration and Work Schedule
Due to current conditions, we support virtual work OR in-person, once deemed safe to return.
Responsibilities:As an HR Intern you will be mentored by subject matter experts, offering you a valuable opportunity to gain an understanding of the employee lifecycle through a variety of projects and tasks.
This internship also provides the unique opportunity to participate in job shadows, community volunteerism, and Associate Resource Groups (ARG’s) - a student favorite being the Intern Associate Resource Group (ARG), which provides networking opportunities and exposure to Enterprise senior leaders.
As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own and administer the new hire on-boarding process (sending offer letters, initiating IT set up processes, tracking background checks and drug screens, completing I-9 form documents, etc).
- Meet with new hires to ensure accurate and timely completion of forms.
- Support the recruitment process, which may include creating postings for open positions, sourcing, reviewing applicant resumes, and screening for entry level positions.
- Act as a leading for the Intern ARG by creating various intern events and networking opportunities.
- Assist with making updates and suggestions to social media sites.
- Track and provide support to associates within our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Support Human Resources Representative with Wellness incentives and off-boarding tasks
- Participate in additional projects based on individual skills and team / company needs

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associates degree in relevant field
- Completed one or more semesters of Human Resources related coursework

- Demonstrated professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft software suite
- Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and on team assignments
- Initiative, creativity, and excellent customer service skills
- High energy and willingness to learn new things to advance the work of the team and objectives of the organization
