Legal - Compliance & Ethics Group Summer Intern
About our group:
The Compliance and Ethics Team at Seagate is seeking a rising senior for a 3-month summer internship. The role is likely to be remote due to COVID. Subject to COVID restrictions, the role could be based out of our Dublin, Ireland office or one of our US offices. The candidate will work virtually with members of the senior Compliance & Ethics Team based in Ireland.
About the role - you will:

Assist with various corporate and compliance related projects, including:
- researching specific areas of law and business and presenting findings to the Legal, Compliance and Ethics Teams
- benchmarking strategic plans for best in class in standards and making recommendations based on analysis to the Compliance and Ethics Team
- work on key projects relating to group reporting – development of metrics/KPI’s, etc.
- support compliance and ethics risk assessments
- Assist in the analysis of new business products, services, strategies and initiatives.
Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm. The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.
About you:
- Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of compliance and ethics
- Must be efficient, detail-orientated and a diligent timekeeper
- Keen willingness to learn and adapt to agile working environment
