Job summary/overview
The IT Business analyst is responsible for gathering requirements and performing various business analysis functions for the IT Cloud Services and Automation (CSA) team. The TriNet IT CSA team is responsible for the design and management of our On-Prem and Cloud infrastructures. This includes our co-location data centers, servers, storage, network (both data center and TriNet offices) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) tools. The CSA intern will work with management and technical resources to assist in two areas, IAM tools and cloud infrastructure service management.
Essential duties/responsibilities
- Analysis of TriNet applications as it pertains to IAM tool onboarding (MyAccess and BeyondTrust)
- AS8 and AS9 (access provisioning and de-provisioning controls) SOX control analysis
- Collecting IAM tools metrics
- Reviewing IAM tickets and creating KB articles and/or problem tickets
- Compiling / posting service KPIs and metrics
- Managing infrastructure capacity requests
- Managing employee training activities related to our AWS/cloud migration program
- Helping project-manage key activities/tasks related our AWS/cloud migration program
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Job requirements and qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (in progress) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent degree is desired
- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising junior, senior or enrolled in master’s level education status at the start of the internship
- 3.0 GPA
