Overview
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets is seeking applications for an internship focused on Act 250 Criterion 9(B), Primary Agricultural Soils. The scope of the internship encompasses research and compilation of maps, graphs, and written resources or case studies regarding on and off-site mitigation, including the impact and scope of Criterion 9(B) for Vermont's agricultural soils.

Ideal qualifications would include background/demonstrated interest in mapping or GIS, soil science, agriculture policy, farmland conservation, or graphic design background in the context of natural resources or agriculture.

This position is expected to work approximately 14 hours per week for a total of 200 hours worked. Duty station will be Montpelier, but there may be a possibility for remote work.
