Who you are
A motivated self-starter who is:
- Demonstrates a strong interest in tech and product development; All majors are considered, including but not limited to Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, Sociology and Psychology.
- Results-driven with outstanding follow up and follow through.
- Excellent at time management, self-sufficient, and able to w-ork independently.
- Meticulous with attention to detail and has a high capacity for rapid learning.
- Curious and driven to understand systems holistically. Interested in ideating better systems in a collaborative environment.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done!
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, and quick to pick up new tools and programs.
- Great to have but not required: Knowledgeable about Agile/Scrum product development, software development methodologies or social science research best practices.
What a day as a Credit Cards Product Operations Intern looks like
- Maintaining our sites’ reputation for compliance excellence by performing product updates, researching issues, and making corrections.
- Identifying and documenting best practices for new and existing processes. Iterate on established processes to improve workflow across teams.
- Collaborating with other LendingTree departments as well as external clients, to both resolve operational issues and implement enhancements to LendingTree Cards sites.
- Understanding the scope and functionality of our internal content management product. Contributing to its development and improvement by working with product, operations, compliance, and development teams to write new requirements and create wireframes.
- Analyze current customer experiences. Define and run quantitative A/B tests on the live sites to inform the development of web-based products.
How you will make a positive impact
You will maintain the high standards of compliance that lay the foundation for trust in relationships with consumers and our lender partners. You will ideate, launch, and optimize consumer-facing products in line with lean product development standard methodologies.
