Resources should have experience building and maintaining a Java based, common software interface that allows application programmers to perform CRUD (Create, Replace, Update, Delete) operations within a relational database using java POJOs (Plain Old Java Objects). This experience must demonstrate an understanding of the common design patterns associated with standard object persistence mechanisms, standard persistence frameworks like MyBatis and Hibernate, an understanding of when to use POST & PUT, and how to (de)marshal objects between JSON and POJO.
Skill and Experience Requirements:
- 4+ years of Java experience
- 4+ years of web service development experience (Tomcat and JEE)
- 2+ years of Oracle database experience including familiarity with PL/SQL scripts
- REST Web Service experience is STRONGLY recommended
- Spring/SpringBoot Framework experience is STRONGLY recommended
- Experience working with automated build environments and tools like GitLab, Jenkins and Maven
- Experience with Junit, SONAR, Cloudbees, Jersey are a plus
Highly Desired:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Developer recommended
- Experience with AWS EC2 or EKS deployments is recommended
- Experience with containerization (e.g Docker) is recommended
- Experience with asynchronous event-based messaging frameworks like AWS EventBridge
- US Citizenship or Green Card required.
- DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
