Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an intern for a Trainer. If you have experience training or coaching and are interested in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities
As a Trainer, you will:
Ensure training programs align with key business initiatives, support corporate training goals, enable behavior change, deliver improved associate performance, refine job skills and enhance associate productivity
Understand branch objectives and be able to train specifically towards those objectives
Develop and deliver training programs through diverse methods to include on the job training, classroom seminars, self-study and web based delivery
Qualifications
Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage deadlines through effective organization, delegation, and time management skills
Exhibits superior communication skills (oral, written and telephone skills)
Demonstrates effective listening skills through full understanding & execution
Authors, builds, develops & delivers effective training programs
Shows exceptional presentation and public speaking skills
Practices and demonstrates successful facilitation of training programs
Full understanding of Adult Learning Theory
Models professional behavior when interacting with all associates at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and our learning management system: (ELM) Enterprise Learning Management
Willingness to collaborate effectively with other departments
