Key Projects/Exposures:
- Assist with various duties for projects within Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise-wide Risk Assessments, and Issues Management
- Participate in policy and procedure review
- Assist in establishing MVB’s Risk Library
- Develop and assess surveys to be distributed to internal parties
- Aid in developing training materials related to Operational Risk and Enterprise Risk Management
- Provide support in the design and implementation of a new Ops Risk SharePoint for all employees to access, including document gathering and references for site.
- Assist with Risk Assessment Governance (includes, risk identification, assisting in preparing and conducting workshops with stakeholders), risk measurement, policies and procedures, process maps, evaluating the results of the risk assessments, etc.
- Opportunity to present research and findings to leadership at the conclusion of the internship
Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Senior year undergraduate or master’s Candidate with a focus in Business or Risk Management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and written communication
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
