Position Summary:

SiriusXM is looking for an MBA intern for our Partnerships / Business Development located in New York, or if not, in the Eastern Time Zone. The Intern will work on a number of different endeavors as part of the broader Streaming Business Development Team that is changing the way subscribers listen to SiriusXM. This role will report directly to the Associate Director, Streaming Business Development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research on strategic distribution partners and prospects in the digital hardware, media and related spaces. Generate insights and recommendations for SXM’s Streaming partnerships business.
• Perform Excel-based analysis and modeling of opportunities for existing and new partnerships.
• Work across Finance, Product Marketing, Operations, et al. to drive forward SiriusXM’s and Pandora’s partnership efforts.
• Join external partnership discussions across all of business development opportunities (Smart Speakers, Gaming Consoles, Set-Top-Boxes, SVOD, etc).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

Requirements and General Skills:

• Strong interest in/knowledge of the audio/streaming media and consumer electronics industries.
• Passion for the evolution of digital content consumption.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of and experience with financial modeling in Excel.
