The Supply Chain Intern will partner with master planners and supply chain managers for selected Engineering Adhesives sites and will assist in the analysis and development of demand profiling and trends at the SKU level; which will be used to estimate future product demand in collaboration with market segment leaders.

This is a 40 hour per week position during the summer of 2022 - end of May through middle of August.


Responsibilities:

This role will undertake detailed data analysis with focus on:

  • Developing demand profiling by SKU by manufacturing site (A, B, C classification)

  • Utilizing sales history - will develop demand trends by SKU and will provide projections using forecasting methodologies

  • Identifying opportunities and recommend manufacturing and stocking strategies per SKU

  • Assisting with safety stock calculations based on demand profiles through the use of best in class methodologies such as “PFEP” (Plan for Every Part)

  • Utilizing Business Objects tools to develop sustainable reporting for sales trend data

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain or other related major

  • Must have highly analytical skills and strong mathematical and statistical background

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills


Physical Environment:

  • Office environment or possibility to work remotely

  • Must be comfortable doing video calls (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
