As an Infrastructure Intern with us, you will build a solid foundation for you career by gaining hands-on experience from working on multiple projects with a wide variety of software and hardware programs.
Intern Resources:
Location: This position offers remote flexibility to candidates who reside in the Madison, Wisconsin area.
Work Schedule: This is a year-round internship beginning summer 2022 and we require at least 15 hours per week during core business hours (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm).

Our internships will pay between $17-19 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech learning environment to build, analyze, and administer our network, server, and security related infrastructure. Your existing problem solving, communication, and organizational skills will be expanded by learning to use a broad spectrum of leading-edge technologies that will build a solid foundation for your career. These include but are not limited to:
- Linux and Windows server administration
- Scripting
- Analysis and implementation of network security
- Docker containers
- Kubernetes
- Transitioning legacy systems to cloud-hosted solutions
- MEF, Ethernet
- OSPF, BGP, MPLS
- VLAN
- SNMP
- QoS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excited to learn how to help migrate from legacy to Cloud-based solutions
- Ready to manage a variety of hardware devices through support and upgrades
- Ability to evaluate network equipment and leading-edge technologies as well as build/analyze/administer our networks
- Comfortable addressing issues and finding creative solutions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Must be able to complete working hours between M-F 8-5pm
