About the Role:
This is a Technology Strategist Intern position within the Office of the CTO, focused on the Public Sector vertical. Technology Strategists within the Office of the CTO help identify and align internal CrowdStrike resources, across multiple organizations, with external opportunities and emerging requirements. This individual will leverage data, stress test technical and non-technical assumptions, challenging the status quo, to help align and prioritize CrowdStrike initiatives across organizations towards a common. This role will focus on the US Public Sector vertical as a whole while working particularly close with the Federal (.gov) sub-vertical. A successful candidate will have a unique combination of business and technical expertise.
Job Responsibilities/Projects: (3-5 bullet points)
Lead market research in order to quanitify and qualify Total Address Markets (TAM), Servicable Available Markets (SAM), & Servicable Obtainable Markets (SOM), with various parameters
Leverage the Porter’s 5 Forces Framework, or similar framework (i.e. SWOT, 4 P’s), working closely with counterparts and leadership from across the company, to help influence and prioritize unified activity across the company
Help develop workflows and automation to continuously update views on data
Help turn highly complex business opportunities and challenges into simple and understandable dashboards for Executive Staff
What You’ll Need: (5-7 maximum bullet points)
Pursuing a BA in Business, Management in Information Technology or similar degree
Experience in IT or cybersecurity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt and juggle multiple priorities in a matrixed organization
Bonus Points: (3-5 maximum bullet points)
Experience working in Public Sector (i.e. Federal, State/Local Government, Tribal, etc.) or other highly complex and matrixed organization
An understanding of Public Sector compliance and authorization requirements, such as FedRAMP or Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guidance (CC SRG)
Writing code or scripts (i.e. Python, PowerShell, R, etc.) to help aggregate and automate data across multiple sources—or the willingness to learn
