Position Summary:

SiriusXM is looking for an intern for our Connected Vehicle Services’ Sales team. The Intern will work on a number of different endeavors, providing valuable insights to the broader Sales and Business Development Team. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Global Sales and Business Development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Map out the OEM organization structure, associated stakeholders and key decision makers in the connected vehicle space, working closely with the key account leads.
• Create power point templates needed for monthly account review meetings as well as evaluating new business opportunities. Secure stakeholder buy-in and drive the rollout and usage of these templates.
• Support the technical sales team in updating necessary collaterals required for the RFQ processes.
• Assist with special projects as they arise.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree, JD or MBA in economics, business, finance, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

Requirements and General Skills:

• Strong interest in/knowledge of the connected vehicles segment in the automotive industry.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint a must-have.
