Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) is the largest technology focused organization for the promotional product and advertising industry, offering award winning ASI e-commerce services to over 24,000 members. We produce advanced interactive business tools, databases, and websites.
ASI’s editorial intern will get a chance to dig into some meaty stories during their tenure at ASI. They’ll have the opportunity to get some great bylined clips for their portfolios, strong mentorship, and an opportunity to showcase their writing. This is a paid internship with an hourly pay-rate of $15 hour. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:

• Research, report and write news and feature stories for our award-winning website and quarterly print magazine
• Cover local events that would be of interest to the promotional products industry
• Participate in podcasts, livestreamed videos and other social and multimedia efforts
• Complete additional duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong reporting and writing skills
• Professional phone demeanor
• Ability to work remote, independently and work on multiple projects during the week
• Willingness to learn and take constructive criticism
• Being prompt and having organizational skills
• Previous reporting experience is a plus
