Intern - Enterprise Sales

The Enterprise Sales intern will work within the Sales Department to understand how to execute sales solutions in our enterprise business unit. This position will be exposed to several facets of Sales with the opportunity to make valuable contributions to our clients’ business needs and learn to align business outcomes with Black Box Solutions.

Location: Remote - Near NYC to meet with the manager periodically.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Will research and identify prospects that would be good target clients for BBOX.
  • Learn how to and practice cold calling target prospects.
  • Learn the key tenants of Value-Based Selling methodology.
  • Will learn how to use and support AM’s with Customer Relationship Mgmt. Software - Salesforce.
  • Create customer facing content including Power Point, prospecting emails, digital marketing, LinkedIn post, etc.
  • Become familiar with all facets of business including Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, Marketing, Product Management and Solutions, and much more.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

  • Opportunities to learn about different aspects of the IT Services business.
  • On-the-Job training with assignments guided by an individual Mentor/supervisor.
  • Online, virtual, and classroom learning opportunities.
  • Individual and group projects.
  • StrengthsFinder and DiSC Assessment.
  • Roundtables with top level executives.
  • Bi Weekly self-evaluations to understand progress throughout program.
  • Will be assigned a Coach and Mentor to guide them through their experience.
  • Will participate in completing a project which will be presented to Black Box Management at the conclusion of the Internship

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate in one of the following majors: Business, Sales, Communications, Telecommunications, Marketing, Economics or a relevant major.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation & reasoning).
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Creative, energetic, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work in teams; give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Other tasks assigned accordingly.

SCHEDULE/LOCATION:

  • Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM with flexibility depending on incumbent’s schedule.
  • The internship program will begin on May 16th and end on August 5th. You must be able to start on May 16th to be considered for the opportunity.
