Position Title: Intern, Organizational Development and Learning
Department: People
Reports to: Sr Director, Organizational Development
Summary of Duties:
As an Organizational Development and Learning Intern, you assist with design and execution of people processes and products that help HCP achieve its strategic goals while building a world-class employee experience. You partner with People Team colleagues and business stakeholders to provide organization design and development services such as research, design, consulting, data analysis, proposal development, training and change management. You are a full team member with ownership of deliverables.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with the OD, Learning, and People teams to build/execute scalable solutions
- Provide research summaries and recommendations that leverage best available data
- Analyze internal and external data to support recommendations to the business
- Build prototypes of tools and processes that improve employee experience and business performance, aligned to OKRs
- Support vendor identification, review, and selection
- Support Learning function with course content and occasional delivery of training
- Work to become a trusted partner within domains of expertise
- Analyze organization issues and propose solutions
- Learn and apply change management best practices
- Create an execute measurement plans to track success
Qualifications:
- Must be a current Graduate Student | OD or I/O Masters or PhD in progress with 1-2 years until graduation preferred
- Mindset: Positive attitude, strategic / creative / innovative and practical
- Analytical and excellent data-driven communication skills
- Able to build concise, coherent cases and stories for executive audiences
- Tableau experience a plus; Spreadsheet and presentation experience required
- Technically literate - can operate in fast moving SaaS company using an evolving toolset
- Agile learner - able to navigate change and help speed adoption
- Act as an owner, not a bystander - take responsibility and execute continuous improvement
This is a part-time internship that will vary in length - our ideal candidate will be able to work 25-30 hours per week fully remote with an immediate start date. The hourly compensation will vary between $35-$45/hour.
