People Operations Intern
As a People Operations Intern you will have the opportunity to learn, interact, and assist on various aspects of the Human Resource (referred to as People processes at Radian) lifecycle by providing coordination and support of all end-to-end employee data and people processes coming to the People Operations team from throughout the enterprise. Some tasks you may assist and/or execute on include scheduling enterprise-wide interview, processing of offers, maintenance and monitoring of onboarding documentation, end-to-end people transactions, and exposure and opportunity to assist with enterprise-wide programs and initiatives, including contingent worker onboarding, New Hire Orientation (NHO), the Internship Program, Co-Op Program, Referral Program, among others.
You will actively participate in department-wide People Team initiatives which are intended to drive overall efficiency and effectiveness to the enterprise while supporting scalable processes and programs.
What you will do:
Assists and executes on enterprise-wide talent transactions, including interview scheduling, processing of offers, and the monitoring of onboarding documentation. You will get hands on experience in learning about compliance and regulatory matters as they relate to onboarding a new hire, beginning with the background screening process. You will gain knowledge of applicable laws and policies, including FCRA. You will provide exceptional customer service during all interactions and enhance your business acumen.
Supports all People Team COEs in the carrying out of daily and routine HRIS/HCM transactions in support of the entire end-to-end employee data life cycle and people processes. Learns about and then executes on best practices to ensure all data entering and maintained within the HRIS/HCM system follows best in class data cleansing practices, to include data accuracy, data timeliness, and data succinctness.
You will participate in and have an opportunity to learn and about many People Operations initiatives and programs, including, but not limited to, New Hire Orientation (NHO), New Hire Executive Coffee Breaks and Executive Meet and Greets, the Internship Program, and the Co-Op Program. You will have the opportunity to support department-wide initiatives and programs.
You will learn about and assist, through collaboration, ancillary People Operations responsibilities, including maintenance and processing of the contingent worker (CW) process for the entire enterprise and have the opportunity to partner with Procurement, Hiring Managers, and 3rd party vendors to maintain data integrity and proper processes.
You will learn and become familiar with several best-in-class Human Resources technologies, including a Human Capital Management (HCM) system and Talent/Customer Relationship Management Platform (CRM).

Preferred Work Experience:
Technical: 1+ years of related work experience.
Education:
Required: Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Preferred: Pursuing or recently completed a Master’s Degree with concentration in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
