Service Department Dispatcher - Junior Account Manager
It is 8:30 am and the morning start-up routine is complete. The technicians are all onsite at their first appointments. Your inbox is below 10. You have a few tasks to complete before noon. It seems to be shaping up as a slow day.
You step away to get more of your favorite morning beverage. When you return to your desk after 10 minutes, you have two missed calls from a teammate and three direct messages from your supervisor, the service manager. You smile and think, “Today just got a whole lot more interesting.”

About you*
Who: An experienced dispatcher who understand the importance of details, communication, and excellent customer service.
What: You are looking for an opportunity to bring your people skills, organizational skills, and business acumen together in one job.
When: This is a position we are looking to fill immediately.
Where: We are currently working from home (WFH) but we will be returning to working in the office one or two days a week.
How: Using your skills to respond to client requests, internal staff requests, and schedule site visits for our three IT field technicians in a mindful manner. You will also handle some client accounts that are more of a break/fix type.

Your Team*
You will work in the service department of Andromeda Technology Solutions. We are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Lockport Illinois. You will report to the service manager and work alongside the teammate responsible for handling the service ticket queue. The team consist of 10-11 technicians but you will really only interact with the 3 field technicians.

How you will contribute*
You will schedule the field technicians either working with our account managers or in response to client requests. You will also handle some account maintenance/account management tasks.
You will need to be able to:
- work with dispatching/scheduling software
- adjust on the fly as some days are more hectic than others
- remain professional and organized
- handle minor account managerial tasks, assignments, responsibilities
- smile or laugh when others are feeling stress
