We are looking for a results-driven intern who is eager to learn about cybersecurity requirements and use that knowledge to contribute to the development of medical device software.Responsibilities:
- Work with product security and project team to identify product security requirements from standards relevant to products produced at Winnipeg software development site
- Help the software development team map security requirements to product requirements and identify gaps using compliance checklists based on the relevant standards
- Train on related processes and security requirements such as UL 2900, ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 80001, and other security related standards, technical reports and guidance

- This role is cross functional which means you will get to work with people from product security, software development, product management and QA/RA
Minimum Requirements and Skills:
- Pursuing or recently acquired a BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or Math
- Experienced with computer applications and business tools such as e-mail, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Motivated and quick to learn new concepts and understand technical writing/regulations
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage work effectively in a remote capacity in a fast-paced, dynamic but often ambiguous workplace
