Customer Experience Intern- Network Operations

THE ROLE

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Customer Experience - Network Operations Intern to support our Customer Experience team. This high impact position will focus on retaining and growing revenue from existing customers by supporting both end-users and our driver network.

This is a temporary non-exempt role that reports to the Director of Marketplace Operations. Summer interns will work 30-40 hours per week from May 24- August 20.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Executes all job duties in alignment with Dispatch’s core values, mission, and purpose

  • Acts ethically, with integrity and complies to legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation, and creativity

  • Reach out to customers and Drivers about current orders on our network; answering questions via phone, voicemail and email, promptly resolve customer issues and requests

  • Complete order edits and adjustments as needed

  • Update customer and driver training materials, ensuring content is current and helpful through clear instructions and expectations with the goal to maximize customer and driver satisfaction before, during and after deliveries/orders

  • Edit processes and policies to ensure accuracy

  • Solicit customer and driver feedback via follow up phone calls, survey emails and Slack channel monitoring and replies

  • Provide reporting and insights using the Dispatch App and Google Sheets to help teammates and leadership with regularly scheduled reporting needs and ad hoc requests

  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with an interest in Sales, Marketing or Business

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Customer service orientation, problem solving, and relationship building skills (required)

  • Ability to work independently, take direction, take ownership and complete work

  • High degree of accuracy, care and attention to detail

  • Outgoing, friendly, and ability to provide support over the telephone

  • Google Suite experience preferred
