Position Overview
The Strategic Accounts Team Intern will support the field based clonoSEQ sales organization. The position will focus on sales analytics including trends on a national, regional, and territory level. In addition, the intern will work with field leadership on internal meeting preparation, execution and pull-through. This position will partner closely with the DHS and account manager positions to prepare and follow up for client facing sales meetings and assist the sales team with account activation processes. Finally, the intern will work with the field and field leadership to gather feedback and observations which will be used to assess areas for functional, strategic, and cultural improvements.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Sales data analytics – identify Region, territory, and account trends that can be incorporated into sales strategy
- Assist with pre & post client meeting preparation and follow up resources
- Account activation build out: prospect conversions, PRFs, site build-outs
- Internal Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up
- Partner with field team to identify areas for strategy, operational, and cultural enhancements, and compile into prioritized recommendations
- Assist Regional Field Sales Trainer with content preparation
Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Other)
- Currently enrolled in pursuit of B.A. / B.S. degree
- Interest in life sciences and/or business management/sales
- Ability to learn new subject matter content and processes quickly
- Collaborative approach to work
- Must be self-starting and motivated to help the business achieve its goals
- Excellent listening, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
This is a field-based position. Travel optionally to one Regional or National Sales Meeting if those happen in the period of Internship
