Be a part of the talented team that brings America the #1 morning show! Good Morning America interns may have the opportunity to help find story ideas, and work with producers in bringing those stories to air. All interns are included on daily editorial meetings and will leave the internship understanding how the morning show operates from top to bottom.

Responsibilities :
A day in the life…

• Participate on some editorial meetings and in all phases of television production
• Assist in show production
• Some of the departments you could be working in are field and series, booking or digital

Basic Qualifications :
What you bring to the role…

• Strong writing and research skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interest in journalism
• Strong knowledge of GMA’s daily two-hour show
• Willingness to work early mornings, late nights or weekends as needed throughout the assignment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students in their Junior/Senior year or recent graduates
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Previous internship experience, either print or broadcast
• Some experience related to social media including Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram

Additional Information :

• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Work Environment:

• This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
• The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - January 2023
• Candidate must be available to work 40 hours/week in Eastern Standard time for the duration of the internship- could be nights, weekends and possible overnights
