This position is part of Enterprise Services Controllership & Compliance. Enterprise Services combines the digital technology and multifunctional shared services and capabilities to deliver value-driven experiences and services at scale. Enterprise Services partners with its businesses and functions to create value by providing comprehensive set of business services that ultimately drive new levels of growth and profitability for the company.
Accounting Operations provides Intercompany and Fixed Asset Accounting Services for Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace. This process focused organization delivers end to end processes and drives value through scalability and risk assessment. To be successful, candidates must thrive on collaboration, natural curiosity, and problem solving. This rapidly growing department provides opportunity for individuals to demonstrate and develop strong analytical skills, network across the Raytheon Technologies business units, and create and measure output value.
Summary of Role:
In this internship position you will assist the intercompany team with invoice processing, account reconciliation and exposure to subledger transactions. Contributions to special projects regarding transaction matching and analytics of high volumes of data will also be involved.
Preferred candidate would be willing to make a one-year commitment and be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
Anticipated starting date will be in February 2022.
Requirements:
Accounting and/or Finance majors currently in sophomore or junior year with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (please submit a copy of your transcripts with your application).
Self-motivated, able to work independently and remote
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additionally, candidate should demonstrate passion for continuous improvements and embrace change.
Required skills:
Proficiency with Ms Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Location:
Primary office located in Farmington, CT.
Working from home 60%-100% of the time is encouraged and will be discussed further during the interview/ hiring process
