Internship Eligibility:
Work Environment: This internship may be remote or in person at one of our ESPN offices, following safety protocols. If remote, the internship will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
Responsibilities :
- Update and maintain editorial sports calendar for The ESPN Daily Podcast
- Attend daily editorial meetings to provide research, news, insights, and idea generation to podcast team
- Provides timely, accurate, and complete delivery of multimedia elements and publishes to various platforms
- Locate archived video, audio, and associated data for future use
- Researches, writes, and disseminates ideas for future content element on ESPN platforms
- Publishing promotional material, drafting alerts, and uploading audio
- One internship position will work with the audio-engineer/sound designer. This position will have a more technical audio workflow. Building skills of audio recording and mixing.
Basic Qualifications :
- Experience in sports media, preferably in audio/video production
- Solid knowledge of sports, including current athletes, rules and events
- Familiarity with server-based media and/or non-linear editing equipment including but not limited to Adobe Audition and Descript
- High level of familiarity with ESPN programming and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Historical knowledge of US sports
- Experience with audio/video editing, podcasting, and finding archived content
- Familiarity with sports media landscape, including knowledge of business trends and technologies
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a professional role, organization or activity

Internship Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR graduated within the past 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
