Interns would work in either Financial Audit or Production Audit, and would develop financial auditing, accounting, and general analytical skills. Interns will also participate in special projects in assigned audit areas to provide solutions to problems and to gain additional exposure outside of immediate department.

Responsibilities :
Make an Impact by...

Financial Audit:
  • Assist Financial Audit Seniors and Managers with audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting tasks
  • Work with Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP) to extract data and perform analytics using Excel, Access, and other tools
Production Audit:
  • Independently reconcile, review and analyze Television Production Costs with support from Audit Seniors and Managers
  • Audit internal and external information including workpaper setup, research, and reporting information in an Excel format

Basic Qualifications :
What you Bring to the Role...
  • General accounting and business process knowledge related to financial statements, revenue recognition, account reconciliation, amortization, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Access
  • Ability to adapt behavior and approach to different people and situations, including working well independently and with teams
  • Maturity, self-confidence, and tactful assertiveness

Required Education :
  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year, studying accounting, finance, business administration or other business-related fields
  • GPA of a 3.0 or higher


Preferred Education :
  • GPA of a 3.5 or higher

Additional Information :
Internship Eligibility:
  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Program Dates: Interns must be fully available from June 2022 through January 2023
  • Must be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) during the summer. Hours during the school year can be flexible based on candidate's availability.
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank/Glendale area. Remote applicants will also be considered
