Role overview
The Talent Experience Intern, reporting to Senior Director, Talent Acquisition & (DEI) Diversity Equity and Inclusion, is responsible to complete projects that will introduce them to various aspects of the group’s work, including, but not limited to: training and development, diversity and inclusion, HR metrics, and engagement. In addition, the intern will gain valuable experience working in the headquarters of a global corporation, gaining an understanding of the complexity of our business, connecting with others in the HR community, and learning our fundamental HR processes. This internship is ideal for someone who has an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, with particular emphasis on talent acquisition, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, learning and Development, Belonging, and/or HR systems and processes.
A day in the life…
- Assist HR leaders on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, Talent Acquisition and related People & Culture projects and initiatives.
- Support the creation and implementation of DEI training programs
- Conduct research, create reports on program effort, conceptualize community engagement ideas
- Assist with cross functional projects between DEI and Talent Acquisition
- Assist DEI with internal events, including end-to-end community connections our variety of DEI focal points.
- Partner with various People & Culture functions on a variety of projects that impact Talent, Talent Acquisition and DEI.
- Participate on various People & Culture committees to drive completion of assigned projects
- Build and recommend improvements in areas, present to leaders those improvements needed.
What we are looking for…
- Current enrollment in a college program seeking a Human Resources degree or related business field. Ideally a junior or senior in college.
- High degree of interest in program or project management
- Ability to maintain composure, professionalism and a high level of confidentiality at all times
- Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, and thorough
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, word, excel)
- Ability and interest in learning People & Culture technology tools
- Can do, get it done attitude
