Software Engineering Interns will design and implement embedded software for networking protocols, enterprise features, and new wired networking hardware support for Extreme’s modular Linux based networking OS: ExtremeXOS. Internship dates are May – Aug, with potential extension through the fall

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include collecting requirements, designing and implementing software solutions, and enhancing existing software. Significant experience in “C” coding is required. Experience with Linux and computer networking concepts preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Junior or Senior undergrads or Grad students
• Min GPA: 3.5 Onsite work required (no remote option)
• Acceptable majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Networking.
