What You'll Get to Do:

  • Analyze PV and energy storage system data performance, and prepares technical bulletins, flow charts and wiring diagrams.
  • Engineering and Design: Assists with the technical development of new and existing solar and storage products including but not limited to drawings, data sheets, installation manuals, technical bulletins, and energy simulations. Helps clients solve technical engineering problems with products and services.
  • General Technical Customer Service: Responsible for providing technical support to maintain and build business relationships with installers and external stakeholders. Prepares and delivers technical presentations explaining products and services to customers and prospective customers. Support sales and marketing efforts for total home energy solution products.
  • Warranty Claim Support: Maintains database of warranty claims for solar and storage, and works with sales team, distributors, installers, homeowners, and suppliers to investigate inbound warranty claims.
  • Product/Customer Knowledge: Acquires product and industry knowledge to meet sales goals of each product. Participation in professional organizations related to solar and storage codes and standards is highly encouraged.
  • Communication: Maintains communication with factories, product development team, sales managers, installers, contractors and engineers. Monitors and analyzes product developments, trends and progress as well as ensures customer support. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:
  • Junior or above, enrolled in a degree program focusing on electrical engineering, energy systems, power electronics
  • Requires relevant course work or research experience in electrical circuits, applications of solar photovoltaics and energy storage
  • Preferred prior experience in technical presentations, documentation, content writing with great skills in MS Office applications
  • Preferred prior experience in creating and reviewing mechanical, electrical CAD drawings using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
