Associate Account Executive

Location: Manhattan, NY (Currently remote with plans to return to the office in September with a policy of 3 days in office and 2 days working from home)
Comp range: $47 - $52k

Why this role exists: The Assistant Account Executive will report to a Senior Account Executive, with a mission to provide world-class support on multiple client accounts.

As Assistant Account Executive, you will play an outsized role in working directly with media and client executives, managing the junior team, and helping to shape the direction of the company. This role provides significant opportunities for leadership, creativity, and the ability to grow and advance at an accelerated pace.
Required Experience
- Undergraduate degree or higher
- Some agency or in-house communications internship experience preferred
Objective Outcomes
- You will support several client accounts by organizing weekly agendas, taking detailed notes for both internal and external meetings, developing media lists, creating briefing documents, and tracking deliverables
- You will secure client coverage by engaging with the news media, and by systematically deepening and broadening a set of real media relationships
- You will use well-honed writing skills to develop initial drafts of award applications, press releases, and op-eds
- You will receive mentorship and interact closely with Senior Leadership on a daily basis
- This is a traditional PR role with exposure to both corporate and consumer media objectives
