As an Intern within our Enterprise Technology Network Operations team, you will be responsible for the support of a variety of technologies that are owned by the Network team. Examples include:
- Support and administer some of the tools we use like ServiceNow, Splunk, Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco Total Care, Cisco DNAC, and Automation using Python and Ansible
- You will also be working on day-to-day network support issues and incident tickets through ServiceNow
- Continue to grow while supporting integration, automated testing, and deployment
- Assist and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues
- Work with CSC’s Infrastructure Services organization to monitor and maintain software support tools for health, scalability, and stability
Some of the things you’ll learn from us:
- How to collaborate on and complete tasks with other network team members
- Gain hands-on experience with the technologies we use.
- How to coordinate and manage the successful delivery of technical projects or root cause summary and analyzes
- How to complete smaller projects or sub-projects with the guidance of Network Engineers and Technical Project Managers
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Rising Junior or Senior (or above)
- A good understanding of the Microsoft applications like VBA, formula creation(Office Suite), Excel(Office Suite), and Word(Office Suite)
- A good understanding of designing and developing automation modules using Python and Ansible.
- Ability to learn how to automate procedures to produce repeatable software module builds and releases
- Some experience across programming languages (Java, .Net, scripting languages) Strong commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
