Project Engineer / Jr. Project Manager

Then this is the right role for you! W.M. Schultz Construction Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to assist project managers in daily activities, aide superintendents & foreman to get the job done, and provide estimating support for new bids.
In this role you'll gain experience in developing RFIs & submittals, scoping work with subcontractors, developing takeoffs and bids, estimating & managing labor force productivity, scheduling, job cost management and more!
The "Right" Person for this job will enthused by doing a different type of project each season. We do water and waste water treatment plants, deep pipelines, pump stations, whole bridge replacements - the actual project type can vary as long as the work is complex & demanding! The successful candidate must be motivated self-starter and work well in an organization that is fast paced, professional, and goal oriented.
This role is intended to be a stepping stone into an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator role. It will require fieldwork and/or working from a field office. Travel to job site(s) within a 1-2hr radius of Albany may be required; company vehicle provided.
Schultz is a leader in heavy civil contractor with main operations in Saratoga County, NY that constructs water and wastewater treatment facilities, structural concrete, development infrastructure, utility work, site and highway work.
